Prayer is having a conversation with God; it involves speaking and listening. We listen to God through his Word in Scripture but also as the Holy Spirit leads us as individuals. Praying is obedient and it is helpful. God commands us to pray for our own benefit (Philippians 4:6-7) and God commands us to be intercessors for others in prayer (1 Timothy 2:1). At Grace, we believe in the power of prayer to change our hearts as we pray in obedience and we believe in the power of prayer to change the lives of others as we pray to our almighty Father on their behalf.

If you want to get together and spend a good amount of time praying with other believers, the Monday Intercessor prayer time is at 9:00am in the Prayer Room.

In addition there is a group that meets Thursdays at 6:00am in the Prayer Room which is open to anyone who wants to pray or wants to be prayed for.
